James Towns
James began his music endeavors by playing trumpet at age nine and continued through high school. He made the switch over to electric bass at age seventeen. James has worked with a number of local professional artists and groups throughout the decades covering multiple music genres. In addition to Fred Savage and the Unbeatables, you will likely see him with current artists and groups such as PaviElle, Steely Dan tribute group Steeling Dan, Rob Meanyand Terramara, and Power of Ten. You may occasionally see him with r&b singer Gwen Matthews, gospel singer Robert Robinson, and the variety band The Soul Shack.
